It has been a long time coming, but BH with tremendous Siyata Dishmaya, CA Productions is proud to present the newest addition to our ever growing music library. After talking to many people and hearing many opinions, the team has decided to record the Alma Maters from this past years Grand Sing.

There have been many people who have put in their time and effort into making this production a possibility. We would like to take this opportunity to thank them:

Rabbi Shimon Newmark -  As always, every CA Productions’ start begins with you. Thank you very much for the continuous support and backing that you always give towards these projects. On a personal note, thank you very much for everything that you have put into camp that makes it such a special place.

Yaakov Turkel, Eli Tress,  Eli Feuchtwanger, Moshe Tzvi Rothberg, Yaakov Gray, Moshe Fogel, Shimmy Stahl, Avrami Rosenberg, Chaim Edelstein, Avi Galinsky, Yohnatan Monheit, Akiva Blumenkrantz, Binyomin Kriger, Chaim Noach Hager – It’s really amazing to see how many guys are willing to step up and give towards these projects. Thank you very much guys, it means a lot.

Akiva Blumenkrantz – Where do we start? We kept to our word and you are on the song. Maybe next time don’t live out in Far Rockaway and we could’ve got you into the studio more. We’re just joking. You are awesome and so much fun to work with. Thank you for all the basement studio sessions and opinions. What will happen this summer, only time will tell but you know who to call if you need help.

Ahron Lowenthal – Being that this was our first time doing one of these projects, having your help was really appreciated. Thank you very much for all the time that you put in to show us the ropes. Also, thank you very much for being an extra ear throughout the process.

Avi Galinsky – Thank you so much for being the median. We apologize for any late night texts or emails. But hey, you got to hear the song early so I guess its worth it.

Sniper Studios – Thank you very much for all the hard work that you put into making this song a reality. This we think is your 3rd CA Production and rumors are starting to fly that Camp Maaminim might be short one staff member next summer. It’s really been a pleasure working with you and hopefully we can do it again in the near future.

Ahron Klein -  Ahron, you are next level. When we first heard you in camp, we were blown away by the control and sweetness of your voice. You have an amazing talent and you use it to perfection. Having you in the studio was a lot of fun. Great job with the solo for the Grand Sing. Keep Shteiging and we hope to see you back in camp this summer.

Simcha Shapiro – Simcha what can we say. Those notes that you hit, unbelievable. Your uniqueness and flair added so much to this project. Thank you very much for putting in your all to make this, in our opinion, one of the best CA Productions. Hatzlachah in Yeshiva.

Nachi Kaufman – The man, the myth, the legend (and an excellent camper) himself. Nachi what is this your 3rd CA Production? It is not normal! Your voice is awesome and just a pleasure to listen to. It’s been amazing seeing your growth from the first project through this one. Keep shteiging.

Mr. & Mrs. Kaufman, Mr. & Mrs. Shapiro, and Mr. & Mrs. Klein -  Thank you very much for all the time and effort. It has been a pleasure working with your sons. They each have a unique and amazing talent. But on top of that, they each have amazing middos. Thank you very much for allowing them to record and may you see continuous nachas from each of them.

Eli Serebrowski - Thank you for working with us every year on getting the songs up and running. Your work is truly appreciated.

To My Camp Agudah Family – It’s not easy to say goodbye. Camp has been my home for the past 11 summers. I have grown here, made lifelong friendships here, and truly connected with some amazing people. I joined the Camp Agudah Family in 2012 and I haven’t been able to leave since. I started out as a 6th grade camper watching camp legends such as Chaim Fogel, Ahron Shilit, and Tuli Abromcyzk get up on that stage Grand Sing night. I watched Nati Gurowitz, R’ Yitzi Stern, and Moshe Weiderman tear it up on the basketball floor and never once did I think that that could be me one day. I have been a counselor for 12 bunks and well over 150 campers. I have worked with many great JCs and division heads and loved every minute of it. I have changed people’s lives and those people have changed my life. Coming back each year was no question. Is this the last time? Only time will tell. But if it is, then thank you camp for everything.

Lyrics

Suns down last night of camp

Packed bags scattered all around

All the cubbies empty and clear

Heartache felt in the air

Here I stand on Grand Sing night with my friends by my side

We’re all singing, dancing, crying all together

How could camp be over so soon where did the time go

As tears stream down from my eyes, I say

How could it be the time that we all have to say goodbye

Summer memories soaring flying high

How could it be the day, it feels like we just came

Strong friendships that were made, the bond will never break

My home away from home it feels like a different life

Something special burning deep inside

Agudah, Ruach Country

One big family, for all eternity

Can’t sleep lying in bed

Silence ringing in my head

The emotions that I’m feeling inside

Can’t bare, starting to cry

Here I stand on Grand Sing night with my friends by my side

We’re all singing, dancing, crying all together

How could camp be over so soon where did the time go

As tears stream down from my eyes, I say

How could it be the time that we all have to say goodbye

Summer memories soaring flying high

How could it be the day, it feels like we just came

Strong friendships that were made, the bond will never break

My home away from home it feels like a different life

Something special burning deep inside

Agudah, Ruach Country

One big family, for all eternity

Sitting down late at night

As camp’s end slowly drifts into sight

Pen in hand I begin to write

Of summer months that changed my life

The grounds quiet everyone’s asleep

I look out at a camp so unique

Eleven summers each one surreal

Creating bonds that last for years

Look around together hand in hand

A family in unity we stand

Holding on as it fades away

Can we have one more day

So close your eyes this is the last time

Cannot believe I’m saying goodbye

Though leaving never apart

For you’ll always be, part of my life

Standing up as the sun starts to rise

Can’t hold back I just begin to cry

Nowhere else would I rather be

But right here in Ruach Country

Look around together hand in hand

A family in unity we stand

Holding on as it fades away

Can we have one more day

So close your eyes this is the last time

Cannot believe I’m saying goodbye….

Agudah as I stand tonight

Can’t hold back as emotions soar high

Holding on as it fades away

Can I have one more day

I close my eyes for this is the last time

It can’t be real I’m saying goodbye

Though leaving never alone

For I’ll always be, an Agudah boy
